KCCC Blues registers convincing win in opening tie

JAMMU, Apr 20: Kishan Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) Blues registered big win over Country Cricket Academy in the inaugural match of the Summer Endurance Cricket Tournament, being organized by Country Cricket Academy at Gharota, here.
Winning the toss and batting first, CCA bundled out for a modest score of 115 runs in 36 overs. Yuvraj Saini top scored with 21 runs, while Avinash Bharti and Akshit contributed 17 and 14 runs to the total respectively. For KCCC, Sampark Gupta was the pick of the bowlers, who bagged 4 important wickets, while Mokshin and Nityam claimed 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
KCC Blues chased the target easily in 21 overs. Samarpit was the top scorer with 25 runs, while Aryan Dogra, Sarthak and  Abdul Samad contributed 22, 13 and 10 runs respectively. Ashim Nanda was the most successful bowler from CCA, who took 4 wickets by conceding 26 runs, while Dhruv Parmar claimed 2 wickets. KCCC was accompanied by Sunil Kumar as coach.
The match was officiated by Dayal and Madan as umpires.
The tournament is being conducted at Country Cricket Academy ground Gharota with an objective to build temperament and class of young cricketers.
Vivek Sharma, former Ranji Trophy Player witnessed the entire match.
