JAMMU, May 31: ‘Kawa Urja’ has launched first of its kind an exclusive showroom for various type of solar products.
Talking to reporters, Ayush Katoch, Director Kawa Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd said Jammu and Kashmir has acute shortage of power due to which the business houses and common public also suffer during extreme summers and winters.
“Keeping in mind the growing need of electricity Kawa Renewable Energy in collaboration with UTL Solar has jointly taken up this venture in the State to overcome the electricity problems which persist since long,” Katoch said.
Meanwhile, UTL Solar Shopee was inaugurated by Neeraj Anand, President Chamber of Traders Federation.
Speaking on the occasion Anand said that there is need of alternative source of energy as the power demand has increased tremendously.
Finally, M.S Katoch, Chairman of Kawa Group while interacting with the media said: “Keeping in mind yawning gap between demand and supply of electricity we initiated this process couple of years back. But due to non availability of suitable tie up we could not launch alternative source of energy in Jammu and Kashmir,” he maintained.
