JAMMU, Apr 16: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta along with Priya Sethi former MoS, Pawan Gupta former M.o.S and the other functionaries intensified the campaign in favour of Dr.Jitendra Singh and addressed various rallies and public gatherings at different locations in Udhampur. While speaking at one of the gathering in Udhampur constituency, Gupta attacked the opposition for questioning the strikes in Pakistan as part of a strategy to counter the Congress on the issue of nationalism.
“The air strikes have happened in Pakistan but the shock and the pain can be felt in India on the faces of opposition leaders. They are trying for an international Mahamilawat with Pakistan — they abuse Modi here and become headlines in Pakistan,” Gupta said. He said that by asking for proof of the strikes, asking for a body-count of terrorists and painting Pakistan as a peacenik, the Opposition leaders have become poster-boys in Pakistan and were weakening the fight against terror as well as lowering the morale of the armed forces.
“They want to a strike on PM, Narendra Modi while Modi is doing a strike on terror, he added. IAF gave a solid reply to terrorists by entering their homes — a message was also given to their harbourers that there is no option for them but to mend their ways and if they don’t, what will be done has also been told to them,” Gupta said. He said New India led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will not bend before terror and will avenge itself thoroughly, and if necessary, will even enter the homes of its enemies. Gupta even castigated the earlier Governments for lacking the political will to carry out strikes within Pakistan in the aftermath of Ahmedabad blasts and 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
Pawan Gupta while addressing gathering said, in Jammu and Kashmir a Mahamilawat of NC, PDP and Congress has been met out, playing with the sentiments of Jammu region. The recent pro Pakistan and pro separatist’s statements have been given by almost all the leaders of “gatbandhan” and people have made up their mind to teach them a lesson. Gupta said the opposition is issueless in these elections as our elected MPs from Jammu and Kashmir have done a justice to the mandate received from the public. “We have managed to get multiple mega projects in the field of education, power, infrastructure, healthcare and tourism for the State. Many people have been benefitted by the Centrally sponsored schemes and love Modi for the same. He said as a partner in Government in Jammu and Kashmir we had been successful in developing our respective constituencies and people are happy with the performances of all the former MLA’s. He said people have proven this by electing majority of representatives in the Urban local bodies and Panchayat across the State. He appealed to the gathering to give another chance to Dr. Jitender Singh from Jammu -Poonch LS Constituency so that we are able to strengthen the hands of Modi for safe, secure and developed India.
Priya Sethi in her address appealed the gathering to cast their votes in favour of BJP to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for overall development of the State and take India to new heights.
