JAMMU, Dec 16: Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta inaugurated two-day India and International Premier Schools Exhibition here, today.
On the occasion, Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Ajay Nanda; Chairman Sehyog Charitable Trust, Danish Mishra, Managing Gold Advertisers, Ashwani Sharma and Bhupesh Gupta were also present.
This two-day exhibition is first of its kind organised in Jammu with a view to showcase India’s finest International Schools & Boarding Schools, all under one roof.
Sanjeev Bolia, Founder and MD, ‘Affairs Exhibitions & Media Pvt. Ltd,’ explained the idea behind the exhibition in the following words: “Sending your child to a school especially Boarding school can often be an emotionally difficult decision. We hope to make this task easier, by enabling parents to access and view a multitude of the finest Indian day, residential and international schools, all under a single roof!”
Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Shukla, Director – School Projects, said, “at the Premier Schools Exhibition parents get a chance, not only to gain knowledge and information about the best schools in the country, to meet representatives of these schools in person but they are also gaining reliable information from schools themselves.
The visiting parents interacted with the head of schools and their representatives, clarify their concepts and ideas, collect authentic and updated information and benefit from ‘Spot Counselling’ and ‘Spot admissions offers,’ made here. The boarding & international schools showcased their schools by presenting their academic excellence, performance, infrastructure and facilities, teaching methodology, and fees structure to the parents.
Kavinder Gupta, in his address, appreciated the efforts of organizers this exhibition and made people of Jammu aware about the schools of international repute. He said that this will really help the people of Jammu while taking a decision about the careers of their wards.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Nanda appealed to the people of Jammu to visit the exhibition and take benefit such type of exhibition which will provide relevant information about the leading schools of India.
Danish Mishra said that students at boarding schools learn to take care of themselves & take responsibility for their actions.
Leading schools from across the country including Genesis Global School (Delhi NCR), G D Goenka World School (Delhi NCR), Ebenezer International School (Bangalore), Mussoorie International School, Unison World School (Dehradun), The Doon Girls School (Dehradun), Mody School for Girls (Rajasthan), Caledonian International School (Pathankot), The Sagar School (Delhi NCR), etc. participated in the exhibition.
