LOS ANGELES, Feb 14: Actress Katie Holmes became a popular name with teen drama “Dawson Creek,” but the she thinks revival of the series will not work.
Holmes, 37, who starred in the show as high school and, later, college student Joey Potter, said the show was based in the era when Internet did not take over hence it is not possible to revive it, reported Entertainment Weekly.
“When I look back at the show, it had a certain charm. It was before the Internet really took over, it was before iPhones, it was before this kind of new form of communication, and it had this certain feeling that was of the ’90s. I don’t think that in today’s world, you could achieve that same kind of feeling,” she said.
Hit TV series like “Gilmore Girls” and “Full House” are getting revived years after ending. (PTI)
