KATHUA, Feb 11: Kathua police under the guidance of SSP Kathua, Shivdeep Singh Jamwal – today recovered approximately 734 grams of Charas like narcotics in the jurisdiction of PS Bani, one drug peddler arrested and narcotics got seized on spot.
Police said a team led by Inspector, Jaswinder Singh SHO, Police Station (PS), Bani under the supervision of SDPO Billawar, Arvind Kumar during a raid at Main Bazar Bani area specially in rented shop of Manzoor Hussain, son of Habib of Duggan recovered/seized approximately 734 grams of Charas like narcotics from his possession. Thereafter all the recovered narcotics was seized and one person was arrested. On this an instant case vide FIR No. 05/2023 U/S 8/20/ NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bani and further investigation is underway.
