KATHUA; Nov 21: Acting against illegal mining within the district, Kathua police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, R C Kotwal today seized two dumpers along with one Excavator Machine indulged in illegal mining of construction material in the jurisdictional area of Police Station (PS), Rajbagh at Korepunnu area.
A police team headed by Inspector, Amit Sangra, SHO PS Rajbagh under the supervision of SDPO Border, Pankaj Soodan during patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area at Korepunnu seized two dumpers along with one Excavator Machine indulged in illegal mining. Meanwhile, the vehicles along with one Excavator Machine indulged in illegal mining were seized and immediately handed over to the officials of Geological and Mining Department Kathua for further legal proceedings.
