KATHUA, Feb 23:Under the aegis of “Civic Action Programme” a function to distribute wheel chairs among specially abled persons was conducted at District Police Lines here, today.
On the occasion, SSP Kathua, R C Kotwal distributed wheelchairs to the 10 physically challenged persons including women and men.
ASP Kathua, Suresh Kumar Chib, DySP DAR Kathua, Sukhdev Singh along with other officials were also present.
SSP Kathua stated that physically challenged persons constitute equal part of the society as others do so, we as a human being, need to give them proper care and attention whenever and wherever needed.
He said Kathua police have always stood with the needy through different means and shall remain committed to do the same in future as well by taking various best possible initiatives from time to time. In addition to it, SSP Kathua interacted with the beneficiaries who lauded the Kathua Police for taking the initiative in this regard.
