KATHUA, Oct 24: The Kathua police has arrested two chain snatchers on the basis of a complaint of a lady from the town.
The have been identified as Pankaj Kumar S/o Dolat Ram of Krishna Colony, Kathua and Manzol Sharma S/o Pawan Kumar of Ward 2 Kathua.
Police said four days back a woman made a complaint with the police that two youth on motor cycle made an abortive bid to snatch her golden chain. The lady had noted the number of the bike. Police on the basis of the same arrested the youth and has put them under sustained interrogation.
However no recovery has been made from them so far. It may be recalled that various cases of chain snatching and thefts have been reported from the town during last fortnight.
