JAMMU: District Magistrate, Kathua, Ramesh Kumar today imposed Section 144 of CrPC on Jammu-Pathankot National highway.
The imposition prohibits any sort of public interference, agitation and public gathering, in order to ensure smooth movement of traffic on the National Highway besides ensuring that no inconvenience is caused to the people undertaking Shri Amarnath Yatra on National Highway from Lakhanpur to Londi Morh (Kootah) in district Kathua.
The order will remain in force till Shri Amarnath Yatra concludes. (AGENCIES)
