JAMMU, Aug 5: J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society (JKBHWS) in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages here today staged Kashmiri Play ‘Lalded’ at Abhinav Theatre.
K.K Sidha, Relief Commissioner (M) was chief guest on this occasion while Kiran Wattal, JMC Commissioner (retired) was guest of honour.
K.K Khosa, president KP Sabha and Krishen Langoo, Music Director were special guests.
Earlier, Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, I/C Divisional Office Jammu delivered welcome address.
Bharat Singh, Secretary JKAACL extended best wishes to the team which performed the play.
On this occasion JKBHWS felicitated dignities from different fields like Dr. Agni Shekhar, Writer & Scholar; Avtar Bhat, Senior Journalist; Dr. B.L Pandita; B.N Abilash, Writer and Bharti Zadoo, Artist.
Child artists who performed in ‘Saaz Te Awaz’ programme under the supervision of Anmol & Sumeeta Bhat wherein anchoring was done by Vidyut Raina were also felicitated along with Himanshu, Anjali, Krishna, Shriya, Pooja, Lavanya, Srushti, Shriun, Bhumika, Ridhi and Shivani.
Artists who performed in the play were J.K Koul, Jatinder Jotshi, Vinay Pandita, Dazy Bazaz, Rahul Pandita, Sumeeta Bhat, Neetu Dhar, Ravi Dhar, Shivam Bhat, Sohul Dutt and Rajat.
Make-up was done by Pintu Bhat, Costumes by Vijay Raina, Sound by Anmol Raj and Vishal Raina, Lights by Ramesh Pandita, Music by Rajesh Khar, Set was designed by Virji Sumbly, Hall Management by Kamal Saagar, Background Singers were Sumeeta Bhat, Shazia Bashir.
The play was written and directed by J.K Koul and Associate Director was Jatinder Jotshi. Whole program was anchored by P.K Raina.
The program was organised by Susheel Bhat under the overall supervision of Vijay Raina, president JKBHWS.
