Kashmiri migrants’ delegation meets RRC

JAMMU, May 29: A delegation of BJP Kashmir Unit (Migrants) led by its co-convener, Chander Mohan Sharma and T N Bhat met Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (RRC) and discussed the problems confronted by them in recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.
During the discussion, the delegation urged the Commissioner to make Form –M more simple, so that the voters might not have to come again and again for filling up the form for their choice of Franchise. The delegation said according to the registration of the migrants their votes should be considered as per their registered address (in respective zones).
The delegation also raised the issues of poor water and power supply in Jagti Camp (Nagrota), implementation of PM’s Employment Package in letter and spirit and restoration of  encroached lands of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley.
Bal Ji Koul, Mohan Ji Sopori, Roshan Lal Thussu, Chaman Lal Pandita and many others were part of the delegation.
