KATHUA, May 29: Defeating District Baramulla convincingly in the summit clash, District Budgam lifted the title trophy of the State Level Inter-District Under-14 Boys Football Tournament, which concluded at Sports Stadium, here today.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Er Narinder Singh was the chief guest on the occasion.
12 districts of the State, with 8 from Kashmir and 4 from Jammu participated in the event, which was held under the patronage of Navin Agarwal, Director General Youth Services and Sports and under the supervision of Sunil Kumar, DYSSO, Kathua.
The technical panel included Kuldeep Singh, Ganesh Dutt, Mohan Lal, Dharam Pal, Kamal Kumar and Sukh Ram.
Zonal physical education officers, Khem Raj Sharma and Kewal Krishan were also present on the occasion.
Prizes were distributed among the winners and runners-up teams on the valedictory function.
Later-on, DYSSO, Kathua presented vote of thanks.
