JAMMU, Nov 16: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha, Kashmiri Khatri Yuvak Sabha and Displaced Kashmiri Unemployed Youth Union under the leadership of Er. Ramesh Chander Mahajan discussed the problems faced by the displaced traders and over aged youth in camps and non camp areas.
The Sabha demanded release of ex-gratia and compensation with their earning losses from 1990 and insurance to migrants traders and owners of factories, agricultural & fruit growers, traders, handicraft artists for losses, damages and devastation of commercial goods and business closed in Kashmir valley due to 28 years of exile.
The Sabha demanded allotment of land for small scale units in favour of over aged migrant unemployed youth , grant of soft loans with low interest under various welfare and development schemes of Central and State Governments, implementation of National Council on Vocational and Skill Development training centers for women in various camps of Jammu and grant of Rs 50 lakh as one time compensation for the migrant over aged youth.
