JAMMU, Dec 26: Kashmiri Food Festival began today at ‘Mint Leaf’, a family restaurant, here at Channi Himmat.
Giving details about the festival, the Managing Director (MD) of the ‘Mint Leaf’, Sanjay Mahajan said, “During the week-long Festival, we will be serving all Kashmiri dishes including vegetarian and non-vegetarian that too at very reasonable rates.”
He claimed they are specialist in Kashmiri Food and serve Jhatka. “We also provide home delivery around four kilometers besides making arrangements for kitty parties and marriage functions,” he said adding that they got a very good response on the very first day as not only the people from the Kashmiri community, but also other communities thronged the restaurant and enjoyed eating delicious Kashmiri dishes.
Sanjay Mahajan, owner of the restaurant said that the idea behind this festival is to provide an opportunity to Jammuites to enjoy special Kashmiri food besides to Kashmiris who are now settled in Jammu to refresh their memories with tasty and their home food. “We have been getting a very good response from the customers and all our regular customers have appreciated Kashmiri food festival. The restaurant was started about two years from now and we are providing our customers with best quality fast food items,” he added.
On Kahmiri food festival , Narider Singh Jamwal, Manager, Mint Leaf, said , “We have been maintaining the standards , which gives us a distinction in the industry and the same would be maintained.” He also said that free home delivery was also available in the adjoining areas including Trikuta Nagar, Channi Himmat, Greater Kailash , Marbel Market , Sainik Colony etc.
Mint Leaf restaurant is also available for the parties and functions for a gathering of about 100.
