SRINAGAR, Dec 26:  Armed Police Headquarters J&K donated clothing items and medicines to Jammu Red Cross(JRC) Home for handicapped children at Udhaywala and Ved Mandir Bal Niketan, Amphalla, here today.
Mukesh Singh IGP Armed Police accompanied by  Zahid Naseem Manhas SSP to ADGP Armed J&K handed over clothing items including trousers and medicines to management of Jammu Red Cross Home for 60 handicapped children from across the State studying in class 1st to 5th primary . These children  are being provided free facilities of boarding, lodging and education  by JRC.
The management of JRC comprising  Ms Neena Rishi(warden), PC Kapoor (President), Satish Sharma joint secretary) and Joginder Shetrapal secretary  who were present on the occasion complimented the Police Department for their concern for  these needy children. The officers assured all possible help to management for such noble activity.
Similarly, clothing items and medicines were also handed over to Satish Pal Gupta secretary and other members of the  Ved Mandir Bal Niketan Sanstha for 56 boys and 53 girls (orphans & destitute) belonging to Hindu, Muslim and Buddhist religion from across the State. These orphan and destitute boys and girls are being looked after by the management of Ved Mandir Bal Niketan Sanstha Amphalla in all respect.
