Kashmir pushed to ruins in last 35 years: Indresh

Reiterates stand on PoJK

SRINAGAR, Aug 23: Calling the safe landing of space lander Chandrayaan-3 on the surface of Moon as a big success of the nation, Muslim Rashtriya Munch chief patron, Dr Indresh Kumar has greeted people of the country on this occasion.
Dr Indresh who is on one day visit to Kashmir Valley said that the safe landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the South Pole of the Moon is a big achievement in the space exploration. Admiring the space scientists of ISRO, he said that it is the utmost dedication of the Indian scientists and space engineers who have made this accomplishment possible.
Dr Kumar expressed his firm belief in promoting scientific advancements alongside cultural nationalism while illustrating how they actively give rise to a sense of pride within society while propelling India towards becoming a prominent global power.
Meanwhile, Indresh Kumar reiterated the stance about POJK being the part of India and said that nation is committed to take it back.
“POJK including Gilgit Baltistan is our part and we are committed to take this part back for which Pakistan needs to vacate it as this has been illegally occupied and the people of this region are being suppressed and oppressed by Pakistan Government,” Kumar said.
Dr Indresh Kumar also interacted with the district and divisional functionaries of the organisation in Hari Niwas at Srinagar and took stock of the progress in different programs launched by the MRM across Kashmir Valley. Speaking to the delegates who had converged at Hari Niwas, he said that Kashmir had been pushed to the ruins and destruction during the last 35 years, but now the situation has drastically changed and there is peace and prosperity all around. The people are heaving a sigh of relief and are comparing the present time with the dark period of nineties.
“Today every Kashmiri is happy with the peace and prosperity that has returned to Kashmir. The nostalgia of the dark days of nineties still haunts their minds, but the Government’s developmental initiatives have changed the mindsets of the public to a large extent and they are taking keen interest in these ventures,” he further added. While enumerating some ambitious initiatives, he said that more than 150 Ekal Vidyalayas were opened during the time when militancy was on its peak where thousands of poor students got education and today they are actively contributing in the overall development of the region, he further claimed.
