JAMMU, June 28: Rashida Shaheen, General Manager DIC Bandipore, who was under order of transfer as Development Officer (Non-Textile), Handicrafts, Srinagar, was suspended today for non-compliance of the Government order on her transfer and posting.
Pending inquiry into the conduct relating to non-compliance of Government order number 672-GAD of 2013, dated 23-04-2013, Rasheeda Shaheen is placed under suspension with immediate effect, says an order issued by the GAD today. During the period of her suspension, she shall remain attached in the office of Director Handicrafts, J&K, the order adds.
Pertinent to mention here that according to Government Order No 672–GAD of 2013, dated 23-04-2013, Rashida Shaheen was posted as Development Officer, Handicrafts (Non-Textile, Srinagar against an available vacancy. This order was in partial modification of an earlier Government order number 624-GAD of 2013, dated 12-04-2013, according to which this KAS officer was transferred and posted as Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Srinagar.
As Rashida Shaheen did not abide by the latest order on her transfer and posting, the Government placed her under suspension besides initiating an inquiry into the matter of non-compliance.
Meanwhile, Rohit Khajuria, Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of CAPD Jammu, has been transferred and attached in the GAD to await further posting.
According to another order, Rakhpal, Private Secretary to the Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment Department was today transferred and posted as Private Secretary with Chairman J&K Special Tribunal vice Vijay Kumar Koul, who has been transferred and posted in place of Rakhpal as Private Secretary to Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment Department.
