Kargil police holds training on ‘Accident Cases’

KARGIL, Jan 30: Three-day Training Module for Investigation in Accident Cases for Investigating Officers of District Police Kargil concluded today at DPL Kargil.
The inaugural session was chaired by Dr. Vinod Kumar, SP Kargil. The course started with simulation exercise of an accident case followed by lectures imparted by different trainers covering all aspects of investigation, right from registration of FIR to completion of investigation and final disposal of the cases.
The training module included a combination of theory and practice with class room exercises and practical field exercise. At the conclusion there was an assessment of trainees and feedback was sought from them regarding the whole module.
The valediction ceremony was held today. Dr. Vinod Kumar, during his valediction speech congratulated the trainees for successfully completing the training module. He said that aim of such programmes is capacity building in the organization particularly in investigation process which is critical to the policing.
He also ensured trainees that many such programmes will be conducted by District Police Kargil in future to enrich their skills to deal with different type of crimes. The trainees, who participated in the programme appreciated the effort and said that they got hugely benefitted as was evident from their feedback responses.
At the end of valediction, ‘Participation Certificates’ were distributed among the trainees by SP Kargil. Mujahid-ul-Haq, Dy.SP Headquarters, Kargil, Rigzin Sandup, Dy. SP DAR Kargil, Nawang Nurbo, Sr.PO, Kargil besides other officers of District Police Kargil were also present on the occasion.
