KATRA, Nov 24: Maa Kalka Ji Pariwaar of Shree Kalka Ji Mandir Trust, New Delhi today organized Mata Ki Vishaal Chowki and Bandhara at Katra. Famous devotional singer Narendra Chanchal, Manu Noor Ji and Rahul Banjaara presented mesmerizing Mata Ke Bajan on the occasion.
Mata Ki Chowki is a spiritual event which holds a special place in Indian Hindu rituals. During the event, Pooja Archna and rituals in honour of Godess Durga are held. The people with full devotion invite their family and friends to the event. The devotees gather for Bhajan Kirtan and sing Mata Ki Bhente. Then they offer Prasad, things used for Shingar etc to Maa Durga.
Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion while Ritesh Kapoor, (senior journalist), Sandeep Mehta ( SSP Operations Jammu), R K Dhar ( SSP ACS Jammu), Vishal Shekhar (DySP Katra), Ashok Kumar Choudhary (SDM Katra), Dinesh Mahajan (senior journalist) and Samarjeet Singh from J&K Police were the guests of honour.
Narendra Chanchal presented Maa Ki Chuni to all the dignitaries who were also felicitated by Shree Kalka Ji Mandir Trust, New Delhi.
Sanjeev Verma, at the outset, appreciated the efforts of Maa Kalka Ji Pariwaar of Shree Kalka Ji Mandir Trust, New Delhi for organizing wonderful Mata Ki Chowki and Bhandara. He said that devotional approach towards the welfare of the society is bonding the communities and the volunteer approach by such organizations is doing the purpose.
The organizing committee comprised of Yash Tekwani, Anil Batla, Anuj Mittal and Rupendra Manchanda. The team comprising of Narendra Suri, Ankit Kalra, Shakti Maata, Gaurav Arora, Sanjay Dawar, Rajan Sachdeva and other members of the trust made all the arrangements for the Choaki and Bhandara. Others who supported the trust, included Samarjeet Singh, Ramesh Chander Sabbarwal, Harish Arora, Vimal Dua, Sanjeev M Anocha, Sanjeev, Veerman Singhal, Sachin Gupta, Sanjay Arora, Jairam Tekwani, Amit Sethi, Subash Chotrani, Subash Bansal, Ashish Suri, Manoj Saheja, Pankaj Chadda, Sourav Kapoor, Kapil Saini and many more.
