JAMMU, Jan 22: Kaal Bhairav Ashtami was celebrated here today at the ancient temple of Bhairav Dev Ji in Chowk Chabtura area in the heart of Jammu city.
A Hawan was performed in this regard by Mahant Rumil Sharma Ji after which the devotees paid obeisance at the shrine and sought blessings for good health and prosperity in life.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Rumil Sharma Ji said that Kaal Bhairav Ashtami is an auspicious day when the deity blesses devotees with prosperity and success in life.
After praying for peace and prosperity in J&K and also in the entire world, the Mahant said that Kaal Bhairav Ji fulfils all the good wishes of devotees who visit the temple for blessings.
A Bhandara was also organised on this occasion where the devotees were served different dishes.
