JAMMU, Jan 2: Prominent social worker K K Shastri has been appointed as new president of National People’s Front in Jammu and Kashmir.
His name was proposed by the Secretary of National People’s Front, Advocate Narendra Sharma in the core committee meeting, held today, and Senior Vice-President Advocate Sushma Bhatt approved the name. The core committee decided to make the Shastri as president of Jammu and Kashmir after everyone’s consent.
In a press release, national spokesperson of the Front, Acharya Pankaj Sharma described K K Shastri as the hardworking and honest person who has been doing social service in Jammu and Kashmir for a long time on behalf of the National People’s Front and has dedicated his life towards social upliftment.
