JAMMU, Jan 1: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has warned the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) not to do horse trading with Kashmir centric parties particularly PDP and comprise on issues like Article 370 and Chief Minister from Jammu region.
“BJP emerged as the largest party in Jammu region and secured all its seats from there, as people of Jammu region voted BJP hoping abrogation of Article 370 and next CM from Duggar Pradesh”, said JWAM president, Sunil Dimple in a statement.
He said BJP should realize it and do not cheat Jammuites by comprising on these core issues on the basis of which it got such a big mandate in J&K.
Dimple said one thing is very clear that people of Jammu region want the next Chief Minister from Jammu region as also the separate Jammu State. He questioned whether BJP is ready for this or not, adding people are waiting for the BJP to clear its stand.
