JWAM stages protest, demands start of work on Jammu projects

JAMMU, July 19: Led by their President Sunil Dimple, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists here today staged a protest demonstrations demanding start of works on Jammu projects.
Addressing the protesters, Dimple said that work on Jammu smart city project should be started without any further delay.
He also demanded start of Jammu AIIMS OPD at Super Speciality Hospital, start of construction work on Rehari Chungi to Jewal Chowk Flyover and start of the work on artificial Tawi Lake.
Dimple asked the Governor N.N Vohra to start work on the Metro Rail and Mono Rail connecting Jammu city with its adjoining towns like Samba, Bari Brahmna, R.S Pura, Akhnoor, Nagrota etc.
He also demanded to abolish the Ban Nagrota Toll Plaza and raised the issue of power curtailments and acute sacristy of drinking water in Jammu region.
He further demanded deportation of Rohangias and Bangladeshies and allotment of five marlas plot to the border residents.
Sham Saroop, Manjiet Anand, Chaman Pawar, Sachin Soi, Chuni Lal Bhat, Rajesh Tal, Mohan Lal Sharma, Sat Pal Kohli, Ashok Kumar, Arjun Kumar, Vijay Sharma, Om Parkash, Ajay Mehta, Avinassh Gupta and others were also present in the protest.
