JWAM reiterates Ring Road demand

JAMMU, May 22: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) leader, Sunil Dimple here today demanded Ring Road from Amphalla-Manda to Janipur High Court up-to Akhnoor and start of work on metro-train project.
Dimple was pacifying the protesting minibus drivers after one among was slapped by traffic cop after which all others have blocked road at Amphalla.
JWAM leader appealed to the Governor, Satya Pal Malik to solve traffic problems in Jammu city and demanded flyovers between Rehari Chungi-Jewel Chowk apart from construction of parking places.
He also said that traffic police should not harass commuters and transporters by unnecessary challaning.
Later the protesters removed the road blockade.
