JAMMU, Jan 14: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today held a protest demonstration against the statement of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in the floor of the Assembly, in which she made a fresh appeal for the resumption of Indo-Pak dialogue and opening all the routes with the Pakistan.
Addressing the protesters, JWAM president, Sunil Dimple said that both the coalition partners in the State Government are taking different stand on Pakistan. “While the PDP leaders including Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is making fresh appeal for the resumption of the Indo-Pak dialogue and opening of all the routes with the Pakistan, BJP leaders take opposite stand”, he said.
He appealed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to clear his Government’s stand on the statement of the CM Mehbooba Mufti, as the BJP is alliance partner of the PDP in J&K Government. He also appealed the PM to clear his Kashmir policy to the people of the State and the country in the parliament, PDP leaders including CM of J&K are giving the contradictory statement. “Different ideologies of the two coalition partners in the Government has created instability in the State”, he added.
Dimple said it seems that the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has become the spokesperson of the Hurriayt leaders, as she is openly submitting these proposals to Pakistan and that too at a time when Hafeez Sayeed, is openly warning India from Pakistan land for more attacks on the eve of Republic Day.
He demanded immediate dismissal of present BJP-PDP Government and imposition of Governor rule in the State.
