JWAM holds protest, projects issues

JAMMU, Nov 16: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) held protest to project various issues.
A large number of JWAM activists led by its President Sunil Dimple assembled near Arorian Di Chapri area on Janipur-Bantalab road and held protest. The vehicular movement also got disrupted for sometime.
While speaking, Sunil Dimple urged the Governor to implement delimitation commission, dissolve assembly and hold fresh assembly elections in the State. Dimple also demanded implementation of President rule in the J&K.
He also appealed to the Governor to start open public darbar in Raj Bhawan so as to listen the grievances of the people.
Dimple said that Jammu region is facing discrimination on account of development, adding that the present assembly should be dissolved and fresh election in J&K should be conducted.
He also raised various other issues including implementation of delimitation commission, permanent settlement of West Pakistan refugees, unemployment, traffic and parking problems, construction of fly overs, ring roads, holiday on birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh, etc.
Among others present were Sham Saroop Gupta, Harbans Tondon, Ram Kapoor, Chaman Pawar, Rakesh Pandoh, Vijay Khajuria, Dr ON Pandita, JM Gupta, Kala Kumhar, Kulwant Sharma, Divanshu Kapahi, Sat Pal Kohli, Dev Raj, Ashok Khana, Vicky, Babu, Ram Das, Sanjay Sethi and Rakesh Kumar.
