JAMMU, Nov 4: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) held protest here today and projected their demands.
The activists of JWAM led by their President Sunil Dimple assembled here and held protest. The protestors raised slogans in favour of their demands.
While speaking, Dimple appealed to the Lieutenant Governor Girish Chander Murmu to not shift High Court, registration powers, stop Sarore Toll Plaza and construct flyovers and ring roads to overcome traffic problem.
He informed that all the issues have been sent to LG through a resolution adopted by JWAM.
“People are facing problems due to Sarore Toll Plaza”, Dimple said and appealed to the LG to abolish the tax at Sarore Toll Plaza.
He added that the Traffic Police Depart-ment is imposing heavy fines on the commuters and it should be stopped forthwith.
He appealed to the LG to intervene and redress the issues of public importance at the earliest.
Among others present were Satpal Kohli, Manjiet Anand, Kartar Chand, Sachin Soi, Chuni Lal Bhat, Arjun Kumar, Ajay Kumar and Shiv Kumar.
