JAMMU, July 23: The activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement led by Sunil Dimple, president, held a protest for opening the AIIMS in Jammu, here today.
Addressing the protestors, JWAM president Sunil Dimple sent a clear message to Central  and State Governments that the people of the Jammu region are united and ready for the complete “Indefinite Jammu bandh”, in case soon the official notification of the establishment of AIIMS in Jammu does not come soon. He said now this decisive battle shall not stop till AIIMS is established in Jammu.
He appealed all the MPs of all the national parties to discuss Jammu AIIMS issue in the on going Parliament monsoon session.
He demanded the resignation from Dr Nirmal Singh, deputy Chief Minister, Ministers MLAs, MLCs and MPs who lured the people of the Jammu region and distrusted them and added that they have no moral right to stay in power and should resign.
He alleged the BJP betrayed the people of the State and country  on the Article 370, delimitation, settlement of the west Pakistan Refugees and the townships for Kashmiri Pandits, end of the dynasty rule etc.
He further alleged that Ban-Nagrota Toll Plaza road tax is a burden on the people of the State, pilgrims and traders as well.
