JAMMU, Sept 29: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) held anti-Pakistan protest, here today.
Amid slogans, the activists of JWAM led by its president Sunil Dimple burnt the flags of Pakistan for aiding and abetting terrorism in J&K, frequent ceasefire violations and infiltrations.
Addressing the protestors, Dimple strongly opposed the talks between Prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief.
Due to militancy related incident, hundreds of people have lost their lives and the minority community had to leave the Valley and became refugee in their own country, he added.
He urged the Prime Minister to break all ties with Pakistan and send a clear message to Pakistan that no militancy, terrorism and intrusions will be tolerated by India in J&K.
Among others present were Dr Sham Saroop, Surinder Saraf, Dr Om Parkash Gupta, Vinod Suri, Ramesh Chander Kohli, Ashok Koul, Dharam-Veer Singh, Amit Dogra, etc.
