JWAM holds anti-Pak protest

JAMMU, July 15: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) held anti-Pak protest.
Large number of workers of JWAM workers held protest under the leadership of its President Sunil Dimple.
The protesters torched the effigies of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief and separatists leaders for provoking militancy in Jammu and Kashmir.
While speaking, Sunil Dimple said that the protest by JWAM was held to send a clear message to Pakistan and its Prime Minister that their interference on Kashmir issue will not be tolerated. The protest was also held in support of the liberation of PoK people demanding freedom from Pakistan.
Dimple said that Pakistan’s interference in Kashmir issue is clear indication that Pakistan is not sincere and provoking militancy in Jammu and Kashmir and India in particular.
He said that the separatists leaders are also provoking the militancy in J&K and are aggravating the youths in Kashmir for stone pelting over security forces, adding that in the recent clashes in Valley after killing of Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Burhan Wani, around 40 persons got killed and thousands of people including security personnel received injuries and all this happened due to the anti-India policies adopted by the separatists leaders.
Pakistan’s interference in Kashmir valley issue is awakening call for the NDA, he said and appealed to Prime Minister to deal with Pakistan with iron hands. He also appealed the Prime Minister to get PoK people liberated from Pakistan.
“It is very unfortunate on the part of Government that Shri Amarnath yatris are facing lots of problems due to stoppage of the yatra convoy from Jammu” he said, adding that Government should initiate strict measures to resume the yatra at the earliest.
