SRINAGAR, Nov 22: Justice (retired) M L Koul, heading the judicial commission set up to probe the killing of four persons in firing by paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in South Kashmir’s Shopian district will visit Shopian on Saturday to record the statements of the witnesses.
Government ordered a time bound inquiry into Shopian incident while Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Mir Saifullah had informed the Legislative Assembly that facts would be made to public after the completion of ‘time bound’ inquiry.
Five persons were killed in Shopian allegedly in Central Reserve Police firing in summer this year leading to protests.
