ANANTNAG, Dec 28: Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar of J&K High Court, who is also Administrative Judge for South Kashmir, today inaugurated additional block of District Court Complex Anantnag.
An expenditure of Rs 50 lakh was incurred on repairs and renovation of the building which earlier housed office of SSP Anantnag. The block will provide accommodation for Additional District & Sessions Judge Anantnag, Special Judicial Mobile Magistrate (Sub Judge) and for Munsiff / District Mobile Magistrate Traffic.
On the occasion efforts of Justice Attar in transferring building to the District Court were hailed.
Principal District & Sessions Judge Anantnag, Additional District Judge, ADDC, CJM, SSP Anantnag, Sub Judge Bijbehara, Munsiff Vailoo and Aishmuqam, President District Bar Association, Advocates, civil society members and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
Later, Justice Attar also inaugurated shift block of Munsiff Court Dooru. On the occasion various demands were put forth before him for the betterment of lawyers’ community. He assured that all of these demands will be examined and looked into for their redressal.
