JAMMU, Feb 8: Jammu University Research Scholar Executive Association (JURSEA) today held protest outside Raj Bhawan here today.
The JURSEA activists assembled outside Raj Bhawan and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
They were protesting against the inflexible attitude of the Jammu University Administration over the issues pertaining to the welfare of the scholars.
While speaking, Sukhdev Singh, president, JURSEA, said that scholars are demanding resolution of their long pending demands including renovation of dilapidated hostel complex, hygienic atmosphere in the hostels, better facilities in Central Library, health centre, Wi-Fi connectivity for research scholars and arrest of culprits behind defacing the foundation stone of the heritage varsity.
Among others present were Jyoti Kumari, Manali Sharma, Manzoor Ahmed, Gopal Singh, Vikram Madhyal, Pawan Sharma, PP Singh, Ashraf, Jugal, Sajad, Altaf Ahmed, Amit Sanotra, Varinder Singh, Jog Raj, Varun, Rishikesh Rana, etc.
