Jugal sanctions Rs 30 lakh for Dansal block

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Sept 5: BJP MP from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat Jugal Kishore Sharma sanctioned Rs 30 lakh for different development works to be carried out in block Dansal of Nagrota constituency. MP sanctioned the amount during his tour to Jhajjar Kotli, Shurta, Dansal, Maneh and Upper Kathar villages in block Dansal of Nagrota constituency. Sharma while addressing the gathering said that Jhajjar Kotli is one of the tourist places visited by the people and was announced as Model Village in 2002, but still it lacks basic amenities. To develop Jhajjar Kotli and Devi Bani spots as holy place is our foremost duty, he added. BDO Dansal present in the public meeting briefed the action plan for the various development works. MP sanctioned Rs 10 lakh from his MPLAD Scheme for the development of village Jhajjar Kotli and also released the funds for tiles fixing at Devi Bani Temple. Sharma also held public meeting organized by BJP senior leader Nand Kishore Sharma at village Maneh Upper Kathar. MP listened to the demands of the people and sanctioned Rs 15 lakh for village Maneh and Jitpur. He also announced one bathing ghat for Panchayat Upper Kathar. While addressing the gathering, he said that Narendra Modi is the only Prime Minister of India who has dedicated his deeds for the betterment of mankind. Prime Minister has launched various schemes for the welfare of the poor people. He also apprised the gathering about various centrally sponsored schemes asked the people to take benefit of these schemes. MP along with Nand Kishore also took part in Shri Ganpati Visarjan Yatra from village Dansal to Jhajjar. In the end, Nand Kishore Sharma presented vote of thanks. BJP Block President Dansal Satish Sharma along with his team, Yash Pal, Tarsem Lal, Kaka Ram, Pardeep Koki, Sagar Singh, Lamberdar Partap Singh, Uttam Singh, Retd Capt Chuni Lal, Retd Capt Puran Chand, Baldev Singh, Raman Singh and many others were present on the occasion.
