Jugal, Raina accuse opposition of siding with separatists

JAMMU, Apr 7: The sitting MP and BJP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma asked the people to assess the work done by him for the last five years in his capacity both as a public representative and a Parliamentarian. He said that in the Jammu-Poonch Constituency lot of development took place due to his efforts. Be it the four lanning of Jammu Akhnoor Highway, AIIMS, establishment of Medical Colleges, IIM or IIT and various other projects, all efforts were made to bring development at the door step of the people of the Constituency.
Jugal who held a hectic campaigning in Jammy rural district today by addressing public programmes at various places including Khara Mandana, Parmandal, Utterbahni, Shaw Bload, Nud, Vijaypur, Sumb, Samba and Bangrah said besides, the issues relating to the refugees of West Pakistan and PoJK displaced people were taken up at appropriate level due to which compensation package of Rs five and a half lakh for each family was paid to the displaced families form PoJK. Their other genuine demands were also addressed by the Government from time to time over the last five years, he added.
The programmes were also attended by Dr. D.K. Maniyal, former Minister, Jagbir Singh Cheeku, district president, Kashmira Singh and Amar Singh both State Working Committee members.
The campaign of Jammu-Poonch constituency was also given a final touch by the party State president, Ravinder Raina while addressing rallies at Janipur and Talab Tilloo. The rallies at both these venues attracted a large number of people at both these places. He lambasted the political leaders who are speaking the language of Pakistan and the secessionist elements. He cautioned the people to be aware of such elements whose only agenda is “Modi Hatao”. Ravinder Raina made it clear that there would be no compromise so far as the national interests in the sensitive State like Jammu and Kashmir are concerned.
Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, State spokesperson on Kashmir Affairs while addressing the activists at Bakshi Nagar said that all efforts for the development and security of the State would be made and the new Government would make it sure that terrorism is finished and the terrorists are liquidated. There will be no talks with the secessionist and terrorist elements as the other political parties have been doing or are contemplating to do. BJP is a nationalist party which has deep commitment to nationalism, security, development and the welfare of the people. “Sab ka sath Sab ka vikas” is not only a slogan but also a mission and a vision which people of the country have welcomed over the last five years.
Munish Sharma, Incharge All Morchas and Star campaigner, Praduman Singh, Prabhari Jammu West, Prabhat Singh Jamwal, State treasurer also organised and addressed a number of programmes in the Jammu city.
