JAMMU, Jan 27: Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma launched the Website of Sampark Economical Development Society here today. Sampark Economical Development Society is a Jammu-based organisation, formed in 1998 which is working in various fields for the welfare of the underprivileged.
Today, the organisation launched its website www.samparkngo.com, so that people can get information about it or contact it when needed.
The MP lauded the NGO for undertaking several programmes in different parts of the State.
He said that the organization has already been on the way to help many people in need from time to time and through this website the needy will get the services.
The MP applauded the NGO for having unique image among the NGO’s of Jammu and Kashmir State because of its working style.
He appreciated its members for carrying out various diversified activities like Technical, Professional, Social works etc. “Our primary objective is to help the people in distress and the underprivileged”, said its President Nisha Verma.
While briefing about the working of the NGO, Nisha Verma informed that Sampark Economical Development Society is an action-oriented institute working in Rural, Backward & Border Areas of Jammu District since the year 1998 without any discrimination among cast, creed, community, religion and colour.
This organization has conducted Educational/Training Programmes, Seminars/ Awareness Camps (National Integration, Anti drugs, Population control, Save Girl Child Campaign, Aids Programme, Sports programe, child & Women health care etc.) throughout the remote/Border Areas of Jammu and Kashmir State.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included Chanderkant Langeh, Sushant Baigra, Ajit Singh, Neelam Gupta, Opinder Sharma, Kaima Shah and Mashkoor Ilahi.
