JAMMU, Oct 19: Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP MP from Jammu-Poonch, today held public grievances redressal camp cum Janta Darbar at village Pargwal in Khour Assembly Constituency.
The MP was accompanied by former MLA Dr Krishan Bhagat, DDC Bhushan Bral, BDC Nisha Bhagat and ADDC Ramesh Kumar.
Jugal Kishore Sharma listened to the public problems and demands, most of which were related to various development projects under Jal Jeevan Mission, PMAY, PWD Roads, upgradation of PHC and documents pertaining to the land records.
Speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was working with the great vision of good governance and it was duty of every public servant to redress the public issues within certain time limits. He said that is it very important that a coordination should be maintained with administration, PRIs and public so that development can be executed upto grass root levels.
The MP said that public redressal camps should be arranged after certain time limits so that many problems of the people can be addressed on the spot. He said that under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP led Government in Center was working on the agenda on “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikaas” and to take up this agenda farther, Janta Darbars were being held to give the message of “Sarkar Aap Ke Dawar”.
He also highlighted centrally sponsored schemes and said that after a period of three months, a review meeting of this public redressal camp should be taken to ensure the results of discussions with the various departments.
Executive Engineer Jal Shakti informed the MP that projects under JJM costing Rs 6 crores have been approved and soon work on the same would get executed. Officials of Public Works Department also informed the MP that roads costing more than one crore rupees are going to be constructed in Block Pargwal soon.
SDM Khour, ACD, Chief Agriculture Officer, DPO, Executive Engineer PWD, JPDCL, Irrigation, Flood Control, AD Fisheries, Dy CEO, ZEO, Tehsildar, CDPO, TSO, Sarpanches Kashmir Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Om Parkash, Ram Saroop, Poli Devi, Jashpal, Panches and other officers of concerned depts. were present on the occasion.
