JAMMU, Oct 6: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament from Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha constituency along with former Minister, Sham Lal Choudhary, ex MLA, Gharu Ram Bhagat, ex MLA, Ashwani Sharma, State president, Kissan Morcha, Omi Khajuria, Prabhari Ayodhya Gupta, district president, BJP H S Pammy, district President, Kissan Morcha, Ghar Singh visited RS Pura, Powal in Bishnah and Baspur Bangla in Suchetgarh Assembly constituency and held “Chopal Pe Charcha” with farmers.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while interacting with farmers said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s dream is to double income of farmers by 2022 and BJP led Government in Center is taking historical steps one by one to fulfill it . Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bhima Yojna was one of historic steps and Farmers Bill recently passed in both the houses of Parliament is very admirable.
He said that Farmers Bills will give total Independence to farmers to decide their rates of their productivity and can sell it at any corner of the country by themselves without the interference of middle men and agents. This will relive farmers from the clutches of the brokers and they themselves can sell their produce. He said that there is no amendment in any previous facilities. Congress Party is misleading farmers and betraying them by doing selfish politics. They are using innocent farmers to create their vote bank but their efforts will get in defeated.
Some of the farmers are still not aware about the benefits of this bill but when our party workers will aware them they know all the facts and they will realize the false propaganda of Congress, he added.
Jugal listened to the views of farmers present on the occasion. They said that they were demanding this decision also from previous Governments but only the Modi Government has addressed their demand.
Jugal also held a press conference and informed farmers and masses about the recent Farmers Bills passed in Parliament.
