JAMMU, Oct 14: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament BJP from Jammu -Poonch Lok Sabha constituency along with former Minister, Sukhnandan Choudhary and senior leaders of BJP visited village Chatha Gujran in Marh constituency and held “Choupal Pe Charcha” programme with farmers.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, interacted with farmers and listened to their views about the new Kissan Bill passed in Lok Sabha. Farmers paid their gratitude to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi who has taken a great decision to pass new bill in Parliament. They said that they have now full freedom to sell their produce at anywhere in the country with best rates.
While interacting with people present on the occasion, Jugal said that Congress party has created a false propaganda regarding Minimum Support Price (MSP) and Contract Farming and the party was befooling people. He said that all the facilities provided to farmers prior this Bill will remain as still and through this Bill the farmers will get additional facilities and will be freed from the clutches of brokers. All procurement centers will open as well but it is now new opportunity for farmers to sell their produce in markets or to anywhere on better rates. These bills will give total freedom to farmers, he added.
He said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’ s dream is to double income of farmers by 2022 and BJP led Government at Centre is taking historical steps one by one to fulfil it. Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bhima Yojna was one of historic steps and Farmers Bills recently passed in both the houses of Parliament are very admirable. He said that these bills give independence to farmers to sell their crop anywhere.
Jugal also inaugurated Paddy Procurement Center at Channuchak and interacted with farmers there.
Mandal president, BJP Shakti Sharma, BJP youth president, Deepak Pandey, Harjeet Singh, Prem Singh, Mulkh Raj, BDC Chairman Surinder Kumar, senior BJP leaders, Sarpanch and Panchs also present on the occasion.
