JAMMU, Mar 21: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament (MP), Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, met with Mansukh L Mandaviya, Union Minister of State for Road, Transport and Highways at New Delhi and discussed various development projects regarding road connectivity in Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency.
The MP said that roads are major component of development and road connectivity primarily plays a major role in development of each and every country men. He discussed the widening and four laning project of Jammu -Akhnoor road and up gradation of the same up to Poonch for early commencement of construction work of road.
He also discussed major projects under CRF and their approval recommended by the State Government. He urged the Minister that all the undergoing projects should be expedited and fulfilled in time so that the people of the Jammu-Poonch Parliame-ntary constituency may get their timely benefit. Moreover, he also discussed the construction of roads and bridges under Bharat Mala Development Plan.
The Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways assured the MP that his demands would be considered on priority and fulfilled soon.
