Jugal calls on Union Minister of State for Roadways

JAMMU, Jan 4: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Parliament  (Lok Sabha) Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency along with senior BJP leader Nand Kishore called on Mansukh L Mandaviya Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways Government of India at New Delhi today and discussed  various projects regarding roads and flyovers in Jammu Poonch Parliamentary constituency .
Jugal Kishore demanded construction of flyover at Katra-Domail crossing as it is the demand of the people and pilgrims visiting the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. The people are facing  problems to cross the road at Domail-Katra Chowk which has become accident prone area. He said that due to the construction of National Highway the road got divided and people belonging to village Dansal, Jandrah, Manwal, Kishenpur, Kathar got cut off from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra road and by construction of flyover bridge at Domail National Highway people can move easily on this road.
Jugal Kishore also discussed the other projects for construction of roads and flyover bridges which involves  the construction of flyover bridge at National Highway Samba near Chichi Mata Mandir.
He said flyover bridge near Shri Chichi Mata Temple in district Samba is the pending demand of inhabitants of the area and will provide a way to the pilgrims coming from the other States to pay obeisance in the temple.
He further requested Minister to expedite the process and to start the construction work of Jammu Akhnoor four lane as it is the major project and will provide a great relief to the whole Jammu province.
Mansukh L Mandaviya Minister of State for Road, Transport & Highways assured members of Parliament that he will pay interest to all his demands and said that construction of flyover at Katra-Domail Chowk will be started at the earnest.
