JAMMU, Dec 18: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists will not leave any stone unturned in ensuring unprecedented success of the party with a target of 50 plus seats in the J&K Assembly elections.
This was the outcome of party’s Jammu district North Working Committee introductory meeting held here, today under the chairmanship of BJP district president Omi Khajuria at Marh constituency.
The meeting was held in presence of senior BJP leaders including Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore, Chairman District Development Council (DDC), Jammu, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi, Vinay Gupta Seh Prabhari, Ajay Sharma and Surinder Kumar, general secretaries, Jammu district North, Karan Singh, Nand Kishore and Shiv Dev Singh. Member Parliament Jugal Kishore who was the chief guest on the occasion said that Mission 50 Plus is our target for the impending Assembly elections in J&K and BJP will undoubtedly form its own Government in Jammu and Kashmir with absolute majority. He said that it is the foot soldiers of the party working 24X7 at the grass roots level including the booth level whose efforts will get credited with the achievement of the goal.
Bharat Bhushan Bodhi, Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Jammu while addressing the meeting congratulated and welcomed the newly appointed office bearers. He said the main focus is on the Party’s agenda of achieving 50-Plus target. He said that the Party High Command has appointed new office bearers to ensure a combination that can best coordinate to achieve the goal.
Bharat Bhushan while prompting the party cadre to fully devote themselves to the cause of the organization, asked them to work incessantly till the Assembly elections and reach out to the common masses with full vigour and knowledge.
Omi Khajuria complimented the BJP leadership in showing faith in his capabilities by nominating him as the president of the newly created Jammu district North unit. He said that huge responsibility has been put on his shoulders and he would work as per the expectations of the party.
