JAMMU, Jan 9: In a step towards digitalization, the official website of the 12th JK Science Congress www.jksc2017.in was launched today by the Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof R D Sharma.
The 12th JK Science Congress is being organized by the University of Jammu from March 2-4, 2017 and is expected to be attended by more than 700 researchers from various institutions of the State and the country.
The VC hoped that the website would prove to be an excellent initiative to reach out to maximum researchers across the country. With the launch of this website, I am sure that it would further expand the horizons of the University in reaching out to the scientific community and more researchers would generate interest in participating in the 12th JK Science Congress, he said and added that the university will follow this regime in future as well.
On the occasion, the Organizing Secretary of the Congress, Prof Geeta Sumbali informed that the submission of abstracts and registration fee for the 12th JK Science Congress is to be done online only. The website has been developed by Vinus Sharma, Assistant Professor, Computer Science, GGM Science College, Jammu and the organizers of the 12th JK Science Congress.
