JAMMU, July 6: A day after the letters of displeasure to three faculty members of Geology Department were kept in abeyance, the Jammu University Vice-Chancellor today constituted another committee to re-examine the whole matter.
The four-member committee, headed by Prof Keshav Sharma and comprising Prof Anju Bhasin, Prof Deepak Gupta and Dhritika Singh as the Members, shall submit its recommendations to the competent authority within 10 days.
Only last week, the JU had issued letters of displeasure to Prof G M Bhat, Prof Sandeep Kumar Pandita and Dr Yudhvir Singh for their alleged `irresponsible behavior’ in instigating the students and joining them in protest against then HoD, December last.
However, these letters of displeasure were kept in abeyance yesterday after one of the trio allegedly threatened suicide.
