JU organizes panel discussion for MBA students

JAMMU, Mar 4: Inter-national Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management (ICCCR & HRM), University of Jammu (JU) organized a visit-cum-panel discussion to Reserve Bank of India, Jammu on the theme ‘Foreign Exchange and Financial Outreach’ for MBA (International Business) and Post Graduate Diploma in Composite Culture Management students.

The panellists for the discussion were H.K Soni, General Manager, Foreign Exchange Department; Ruchir Sonkar, Manager, Foreign Exchange Department and Inzar Talib, Manager, Banking Department, RBI-Northern Division Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion H.K Soni highlighted the importance of understanding the foreign exchange market in Indian context and its connect with the international businesses.
Ruchir Sonkar elaborated upon the importance of holding foreign reserves for direct financing of external payments imbalances.
Inzar Talib enabled the students to understand the payment system architecture that includes secured usage of Cards (Credit & Debit), ATM network (NFS), White Label ATMs (WLA), Prepaid Instruments (Mobile Wallets National Unified USSD Platform (NUUP) (*99# service) Net Banking, Point of Sale (POS) & Card-less cash transfer.
Professor Neetu Andotra, Director ICCCR & HRM, University of Jammu expressed satisfaction over the conduct of visit and said that it enhances the international business acumen and knowledge of the students.
Dr. Isha Sharma, Dr. Vishal Sharma and Swati Sharma, faculty at ICCCR & HRM coordinated the visit.
