JU hosts ‘New India Youth Dialogue on Ideation, Innovation & Incubation’

JAMMU, Mar 14: Udhampur Campus and University of Jammu Special Purpose Vehicle Foundation (UOJSPVF) in collaboration with Bhavya Bharat Foundation, hosted New India Youth Dialogue Jammu and Kashmir on theme ‘Ideation, Innovation and Incubation’ here today to mark the celebration of Innovative youth-led solutions for the achievement of the SDGs and recovery from the Covid-19 Pandemic.
JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Manoj Kumar Dhar was the chief guest on the occasion while Danesh Rana (ADGP, Coordination Jammu and Kashmir); Nupur Sharma, National Spokesperson BJP and. Vipul Patel, Indian business leader in USA, were guests of honour. Prof Parikshat Singh Manhas, Rector Udhampur Campus and CEO & Promoter Director of UOJSPVF was the convenor of this event. Rangam Trivedi, Founder, Bhavya Bharat Foundation was also the coordinator of the event.
In his address, Prof Manoj Dhar said that such events will spark the minds and hearts of young learners so that they can be leaders of tomorrow.
The event was carried forward with the motivating words of Prof Parikshat Singh, who stressed that there was need of innovation, Ideation and incubation in today’s time. He said that the main focus behind organizing this initiative of “New India Youth Dialogue Jammu and Kashmir” is to build a strong Innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem on the campus of the University of Jammu. He advised the participants to cultivate multidisciplinary skills.
Nupur Sharma also motivated the participants and informed that Govt of India has built up many policies to bring Innovation in education that encourages teachers and students to explore, research and use all the tools to uncover something new.
Danesh Rana said that Innovation requires a friendly environment where everyone is encouraged to have interaction and exchange of ideas. He said such events give an opportunity for brainstorming and breakdown of information also takes place.
Earlier, Rangam Trivedi, Founder, Bhavya Bharat Foundation explained the aims and objectives of the event. The master of ceremony was Dr Isha Sharma, Assistant Professor, ICccR& HRM, University of Jammu.
Dr Priyanka Sharma, Dr Mamta Sharma, Nikhil Khajuria, Vatsala Jyoti, Gaurav Sharma and Tapas coordinated the event.
