JAMMU, Feb 25: All colleges in Jammu district, which were closed since February 15, will re-open tomorrow following restoration of complete normalcy in the City.
District Magistrate Jammu, Ramesh Kumar told the Excelsior that a decision to re-open the colleges from tomorrow was taken after review of the situation, which was now absolutely normal.
Colleges were closed in Jammu district on February 15 following incidents of arson during bandh called in Jammu to protest martyrdom of 44 CRPF jawans in Pulwama on February 14.
While authorities had re-opened schools few days back after curfew was lifted in the district, colleges remained closed as precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, according to a spokesperson of Jammu University, the JU shall also resume normal functioning from 26 February and all the examinations shall be held from tomorrow onwards as per the already issued date sheet.
