JAMMU, June 8: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front today reiterated the demand of settling Kashmiri Pandits at a single place in Valley instead of scattered places.
In a statement JTC president, Shadi Lal Pandita said that return to scattered places in Valley was not possible for the exiled community under the giving situation. He said in case the Union Government was sincere in rehabilitation of Pandits in Valley, it should settle them at a single place the road map of which has already been given by the community.
Pandita however welcomed the arrangements made by the Government for the Kheer Bhawani pilgrims this year. He expressed the hope than no decision on return will be taken in haste as it will boomerang.
