JTC, SKF’s concern over lack of medicare facilities

JAMMU, Dec 30: A joint meeting was held by Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC)/ Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) at Jagti Nagrota today under the leadership of Shadi Lal Pandita the president of two organizations.
The meeting expressed grave concern over lack of medicare facilities in the dispensary at Jagti township. He said during the medical camp held in Jagti yesterday many women were found suffering from serious ailments and they were referred to GMC for surgery and some of them were also asked to undergo various tests and further examination.
He in an appeal to Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad urged him to pay a visit to Jagti camp and expressed concern over delay in completion of 40 bedded hospital in the camp. He urged the State Government to speed up the work on the camp.
He also alleged that the Jagti township lacks the basic facilities.
